1 1/2″ (38mm) wide belt hand cut from 5 mm thick oak bark tanned bridle leather made in one of the last remaining oak bark tanneries in the UK.
This leather is tanned over 12 months to produce one of the most hard wearing leathers in the world. It is hand finished with a secret dubbin recipe that feeds into the fibres to give the leather better durability and water resistance.
The belt is cut and punched completely by hand with a handstitched keeper and solid brass or stainless steel buckle held in place by matching chicago screws or hand stitched into place. The edges of the belt are hand burnished and sealed with local beeswax to produce a smooth, water resistant finish.
Each belt is made to measure, to get an accurate sizing please measure your current belt from the tip of the buckle to the most used hole as this measurement will be different from your trouser size. The belt will be sized to the centre hole of 5 sizing holes.
